Scrambled Tofu

For abt. 2 Servings:

1 small onion (optional)
little oil for the frying pan
7 oz firm tofu (half a 14oz carton)
2 Tbs tamari soy sauce
2 Tbs nutritional yeast
1 tsp turmeric 
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste

Sprouted bread and chopped fresh herbs, such as chives

Heat little oil in a frying pan and fry onion until browning. (optional).
Crumble tofu separately in a bowl and mix in all other ingredients with a fork.

Add into the heated pan and heat until the tofu blend is soft and cooked, abt. 5 minutes. Tofu should not separate. Serve on sprouted bread with chives or fresh herbs on top. ©2013Sabineart
