Simple Quinoa burgers

For 6 Quinoa Burgers:

1 cup Quinoa
2 cups filtered water
sea salt 

2 red onions, chopped
1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
2 heaped tsp Dijon mustard
2 heaped tsp carob powder
1 tsp paprika powder
optional water to adjust stickyness
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil

Add water and quinoa to a small pot and cook for 17 minutes until the water is absorbed (check if more water is needed). Set aside to cool.

Blend all other ingredients in a small bowl, add the quinoa and blend well. Let sit for some time. If the blend is too crumbly, add some water, (or use a food processor to process to a finer, stickier blend).
Form patties and cook in heated pan with some oil, abt. 4 minutes on each side. 

Serve with tartar sauce or dip. ©
