Mushroom and Walnut burgers





For 8-10 Burgers

200 g Cremini mushrooms
1/3 cup walnuts
1/2 cup fresh parsley

1 large onion, chopped
3 lage garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbs tahini
3 Tbs tamari soy sauce
1 tsp black bean paste (miso)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbs sesame oil
1/2 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp dried oregano 
1/2 tsp dry sage leaves, crumbled
1 cup oatmeal
1-2 Tbs Olive oil
salt and ground pepper to taste

Chop mushrooms, walnuts, and parsley in a food processor to large crumbles, set aside.
Heat some olive oil in a sauté pan and cook onions and garlic until transparent, 4-6 minutes. 
Transfer onions to the minced mushroom blend and add all other ingredients. Use salt and pepper to taste, blend ingredients well. Shape 8-10 burger balls with a spoon or with your hands, place on a plate and refrigerate for 1/2 – 1 hour. 
Heat up some more oil in a pan, firm up the patties and cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side, until lightly browned and crispy. Serve warm or re-heated. ©
